A True Jozi Love Story!
Rahiel, having moved from the US to Johannesburg to experience the South African culture was upon a shopping trip within an African Print Boutique Tailoring shop in our urban city when she found the love of her life, Fashion Designer Gideon.
And so they have become one and what a day they planned in celebration of their union.
A fusion of cultures became an unforgettable Pan-African celebration!
I had the pleasure in assisting Rahiel and Gideon in Partial Planning.
She new exactly how she wanted the day to progress and especially how she wanted her guests who had made the trip from all corners of the globe to feel on her wedding day.
This was truly a Royal African Affair.
The beautiful decor enhanced the African royalty feel dripping in gold to represent the City of Gold! And their guests were so vibrant in their traditional clothing. The music as Rahiel mentioned within the Real Brides magazine (who published their wedding day) represented many layers of their lives... From Djembe drumming to gospel music to jazz to Femi Koya's live afro-beat band to Zambian music to go-go and hip hop!
Such a spectacular occasion.
