Shawaal and Alred came to me in September with one vital request… Please get us Married!
Having tried themselves a few years back the Wedding became postponed due to the arrival of their beautiful little girl Isabella and so now was the time to get Shawaal walking down that aisle and saying ‘I Do’.
Planning a Wedding within 3 months is challenging and can become quite stressful for any couple but they stayed calm and we all pulled off a spectacular day at the most unusual of venue choices!
The Apartheid Museum had never hosted a Wedding before so Shawaal and Alred set a new record here with the combination of the modernised museum structure and rustic wedding designed decor.
The Ceremony took place on the roof top at the end of the ‘Walk of Freedom’. The guests were then escorted through the museum for canapés and serenaded by a wonderful live Saxophonist Friedel Knobel.
The Wedding Reception took place within the art gallery of the museum which gave a wonderful contrast to the rustic table designs that Shawaal had chosen. The evening was catered for by the Apartheid Cafe and the guests danced into the night to The Silhouettes live band!
A Unique, Fun Wedding Day full of Love.
